Be It Unto Me

The angel of the Lord came to Mary with the impossible promise; she would conceive a child as a virgin and that child would be the Son of God.

not the improbable,

not the unlikely,

the impossible.

But with God, nothing is impossible

With God, all things are possible

To the impossible promise of incarnation as the fulfillment of the prophecy of “Immanuel,”

unlikely

unprepared

unworthy

unprecedented

Mary said, “be it unto me”

The Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary and she conceived. The One who made the promise fulfilled the promise and became the promise fulfilled. The impossible of mankind became the possible of God.

To your impossible, let the promise of God become your “be it unto me’’ moment.
